Same place, 10 years older people

Packing the car with all the needs and going away for one week and rest, is what mom and dad used to do with us.

Those vacations were always super fun, cause there were our cousins, uncles, aunts, you know the whole package...

It's been 10 years since the last time we went and this year we decided to go again.

It's funny how I remember our dad filling each gap with bags in the car and making an improvised bed for us.

Even now I can sense the excitement when we were about to go.

As you can see in this picture bellow

I remember this yellow vest and how much I hated and loved it at the same time. I was too tiny for it, so I kept punching the water so I could keep my head above. That's how I learned to swim.

Wow, these ones.. They move back and forth. You are not supposed to do anything but sit. I was so pissed off because they didn't let me climb the dolphin.

Not sure if I've got on it at the end.

I probably did.

With such an ease we got to play with a lot of other kids. Not that I remember them or know anything about them now, but we shared moments of fun back then and those feelings stay.

Every time we went on a trip like this, we weren't only taking half of our garden and kitchen with us, but also stuff like bikes, rollerblades...(They probably knew-> The more entertainment stuff for the kids, the more of vacation it will be.)

.

We all have been on different sides throughout this whole year, and what a better way of coming together than visiting a place full of memories.

So we went for a couple of days, to one of the places we used to go when we were little.

At home we are like in different meal zones, so it was positively strange to eat all the meals together for 5 days straight.

The playground, placed right in front of our nose was a big deal. A lot of families played here and without a doubt ours was the one with the oldest children.

The boy in the striped pajamas

This book.. It's amazing how diversities are presented and how the little boy 'sees' them.

The story unfolds in such a way it touches every inch of you. While reading part of me wanted to believe that little child's perspective, but I knew what I knew, and it's funny how when you know something you can't unknown it.

I'm super grateful for being able to spend lovely moments with them.

Not taking moments for granted is the best way for them to be spent.
